Norman is survived by his four children Karren McClinton of Sayward, BC; Cindy Schmidt of Sayward, BC; Keith (Teash) Johnson of Castlegar, BC; Elaine (Al) Brandt of Armstrong, BC. His sister Rose (Frank) Loos and all his nieces and nephews and cousins left in Weyburn, Saskatchwen and surrounding area. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Beverley (Shelten) Johnsen, Chris (Tara) McClinton, Derek McClinton Joel (Ashlee) Grimard, Jennifer Grimard, Kimberly Brandt and Gary Brandt. Norman will also be missed by his great-grandchildren Ethan, Kaya, Saija, Linden, Dominic, Angel, Aiden; Jaxson; Jase and Landin. Norman also leaves his son?in?law Robin Grimard to mourn his passing.

Norman’s life wasn’t always easy but he worked hard in the bush, as a faller providing for his children and raising them on his own for many years. Although he was rough around the edges, he believed in tough love and deep down, he was a real softy. His grandchildren saw the softer side of Norman and he was an amazing grandfather. He loved working in his shop doing woodworking. He created everything from wishing wells to windmills and furniture. Norman loved nature and a day fishing, or a weekend out camping at Mohun Lake was a great way to spend time.

At Normans request there will be no service. Donations in Norman’s memory may be made to the BC Lung Association or the local SPCA.
