Born and raised in Comox to parents William and Maria, Norm was the middle of five children. He had a long career working at MacMillan Bloedel, Kelsey Bay Division as a heavy-duty mechanic. In his retirement he enjoyed gardening and tinkering with various metal projects.
Norm was predeceased by his brother Fred and brothers in law Brian and Ernie.
Survived by sisters Gela, Dorothy, brother Herb (Bea) and sister-in-law Rosalie plus many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
