Passed away after a long and courageous fight with heart and kidney disease with his loving family by his side. He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend Donna, his children Kerry (Carol), Kim (Darryl), Kent (Jeanette), Louie, Bev (Pete), Kim (Owinn) & Herb. Eleven grandchildren Chelsea, Jody, Nicholas, Kylie, Tory, Nick, Rikki, Tuscun, Alysha, Ann-Marie & Troy. Sisters Jean (Erv), Helen (Abby) & Linda (Terry); Brothers Roger (Marilyn) & Rudy (Ellen); Sisters-in-law Kathy (Kenny) & Jai (Iain); Brothers-in-law Brian (Deb), Dan (Linda) & David (Sue), and many nieces, nephews and friends. Dogs Sammy & Sollie.

Norman was a prominent business man in the community for 30 years, he was owner of Willow Point Plumbing, a director for the 1st open heart and a member of the Kawanis.

Norman loved gardening, his grandchildren, children dogs, greenhouse and most of all his beautiful and supportive wife Donna.

Norman will be greatly missed by his family and friends as well as many other people he touched. As one grandson says “I will miss Papa’s smiling face.”

The Laverdure family would also like to thank Dr. Meckin and the emergency staff as well as Dr. Rene Weir in Victoria and Dr. Andy at St. Paul Heart Function Clinic in Vancouver.

Memorial to celebrate his life will be held at Sutton’s Funeral Home on Thursday June 12, 2003 at 2p.m. Tea to follow at 3956 Dillman Rd.
