In loving memory ~
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful, loving Mother, Nana, Great Grandma, Sister, Aunt and friend.
Norma, our Mum, passed away Monday September 23 in Courtenay BC.
Norma is survived by daughter Jeannie (Marshall), daughter Darlene (Victor), her beloved grandchildren Lilah and Magnus, daughter Angela and beloved granddaughter Abigail (Ross) and precious great grandchildren Violet and Everett, son in law Mike Wilson, her dear sisters Bertha, Jennie, Sara, Ann, Corky and Shawna, former husband John Barrett, many treasured nieces and nephews and close friends Ursula Christen and Pat Olsen. Norma was predeceased by her mother Lila Jean McFadden, father Norman, her brother Eddie and sister Maxine.
We are so very grateful for Doctor Stacey Savard who cared for our Mum and to everyone who showed Norma kindness and compassion in her last years and months, she appreciated and loved you all.
A graveside service was held with family and friends to honour our Mother. Thank you to all who attended and those who were there in spirit to show your love for Norma and for us.
A celebration of life to follow at a later date.
