KUNZ,

Nastassia Angelika

On May 27th in Sucre, Bolivia, a tragic bus accident took the life of our shining star, Nastassia Angelika Kunz. She was completing the final week of a seven month adventure in Central and South America, with the love of her life, Ben Craigen of Whitehorse, Yukon.

She is survived and will be lovingly missed by her parents Ben and Deci and oma Lilo; brother Hans; sisters Titia and Decima; cousins Max, Ben, Meghan, Natasha, Lindsay, Beth, Angela, and Melissa; nephew Richard and her Uncles and Aunts Det and Sally, Bob and Linda and Dave and Liz.

Nastassia graduated from the University of Victoria in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Mechanical) and worked with Heidema Engineering, Campbell River, Catalyst, Campbell River, the City of Whitehorse, Klondike Rib and Salmon, Whitehorse, the Go West Program at the Univeristy of Victoria, Spinner Sports in Campbell River and Whistler Sports Store. Her hobbies included snowboarding, basketball, skimming, bike riding, snowmobiling, surfing, volleyball, rollerblading, dance and scubadiving.

Nastassia had an exuberance for life. At an early age, she broke out of the mold and out stepped a young woman who valued respect, honesty and sincerity. She was strong in body and mind and brought humour to each day, which drew people to her. She accepted every challenge with passion and a positive attitude. Her signature smile will be remembered. Nastassia's Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 4th, at 1:00pm, from St. Peter's Anglican Church, 228 S. Dogwood, Campbell River.
