Nancy Esther (nee Crawford)

Survived by son, Russell, and daughter, Janet Bartlett (Rowland), Grandchildren, Samuel, Rebecca (Duane), Lucy and Leah, and great-granddaughter, Mia. Sisters-in-law, Betty Brussow of Ventura, Calif. and Dorothy Rombough of Campbell River, and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy served in WWII as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurses corp. After moving to Campbell River in 1972 she worked as a nurse at the Quinsam Medical Clinic. She was past matron of the Chas-Maria Chapter of Eastern Star, had been active in Trinity Presbyterian Church for many years, and was a past member of the Arts Council and the Concert Assoc.

Nancy was truly a Renaissance woman, she was an accomplished painter, organist, pianist, soap stone carver, bonsai teacher, she enjoyed all types of handcrafts, was knowledgeable about the local birds, plants and wildlife. She was a generous and delightful person and a joy to all who knew her.
