She was a talented seamstress, and loved to sew quilts for all her loved ones. Her other hobbies included knitting, crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles, reading and playing board games.

Muriel’s husband Raymond John Killin and her daughter Nancy Louise Killin predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter Paula (Keith), her son Peter (Norma), her son Murray (Julie) her brother George Lockwood, her brother and sister in law Roger & Marguerite Killin, her grandchildren Calvin, Dean (Connie), Lana (Lance), Pamela (Mark), Blair (Angela), Lori (Len), Jennifer (Randy), David (Lori), Michael, Patrick (Ashlee), Robert (Dan), Jamie (Tasha). 24 great grandchildren & 9 great great grandchildren. Muriel also leaves behind countless special friends from throughout her life.

Muriel had a gift of compassion and love for every person she met. She was Mum/Grandma to not only her four children; but to dozens more who “adopted” her. Muriel was an amazing woman who will be extremely missed by all who were lucky enough to have been a part of her life.
