Mildred (nee: Miller)
Mildred (Milly) was born in Victoria July 9, 1915 and passed away in Campbell River Oct. 20, 2006. Milly married Alwyn Philip Trace Nov. 5, 1937 and moved to Lake Cowichan, BC in 1954. Al, being a logging man, took his family from Lake Cowichan to Campbell River in 1968.
Milly was predeceased by her husband Alwyn after 57 years of marriage, grandson Wade, brother Louis and sister Mary. She is survived by sons Philip (Louise) and Morris (Dolores), grandchildren Kelly (Dwayne), Travis (Rhonda), Tricia (David), great grandchildren Brad, Katie, Shawna, Amanda, Cameron, Chantal, Jaylene, Shaeley and sisters Kay and Mabel.
Milly was a member of Eastern Star for many years.
The family wishes to thank Maria of “M.S. Cares” for the kind and loving care given to Milly over the past two years.
A Celebration of Milly’s Life will be held Sunday, Oct. 29th, 2006 at 2 pm in the Campbell River Masonic Hall at 2905 Island Highway.
Donations in lieu of flowers to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation at 375-2nd Ave., Campbell River, BC V9W 3V1 or a charity of your choice.
