Mildred Isabelle (White)
Mildred Isabelle Simpson (White), of Nanaimo BC, passed away peacefully September 10, 2007 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. In keeping with her ways of love and leadership, Mildred’s surviving siblings, Joe White and June Lewis, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, nieces and nephews were present during her final days and hours.

Employment at the “Indian Hospital” (TB hospital), School District 68, Nanaimo, in addition to many community involvements also filled Mildred’s life. Mildred’s loving approach to life was remarkable and stands as a foundation for grateful generations to follow. Pre-deceased by husband Dave, Mildred is survived by six children Yvonne, Sharon, Mark, Gary, Tom, Vivian, many wonderful grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
