Michael passed away at Vancouver General Hospital on May 5, 2020. He was predeceased by his father Bill and brother Jim, and is survived by his mother Betty, daughters Lorean, Sherry, Mindy (Remco); grandsons Brennan, Tristen, Rylan, and Haydon and granddaughter Rheannon; sisters Vicky (Rudy) and Cheryl (Randy), as well as many nieces and nephews.
