August 11, 1962 - February 26, 2020
It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Michael Timothy Dick on Wednesday February 26, 2020 at his home in Vancouver, BC.
Michael was predeceased by his Mother Rosemarie Elizabeth Dick September 6, 2016. Left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are his father Elmer Timothy Dick, Sister Tammy Johnston (Al Wilson), Nephew Spencer Johnston, Niece Tanille (Johnston) Trelawny (Guy Trelawny), Great Niece Collins Dick-Trelawny (all of Campbell River). Along with Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends near and far.
Michael was born and raised in Campbell River, he graduated from CARIHI and then headed to Victoria to attend UVIC. After his university graduation he remained in Victoria for several years, spent time in Alert Bay and a few other areas until eventually making his way to the mainland and settling in Vancouver for the remainder of his years.
Michael had such a huge heart and an amazing fighting spirit, he endured so much in his life, yet never ever lost his wonderful and yes sometimes wicked sense of humor.
A special thank-you to Joe for being such a caring landlord and friend to Michael all these years.
Michael requested no service be held and his family will honor this, at the same time celebrate him with a small family gathering at a later date.
We are so happy you got to meet your Great Niece Collins and you can be sure she will grow to cherish Disney just as you did. We are truly blessed to have had you in our lives and very sorry that we don't have more time here, but we do have eternity......
John 3:15-16
"Everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
For God so loved the world that he gave
his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life"
This is not goodbye only until we meet again
