Melchior Rudolph Saager (Rudy)
June 28th 1931 – August 17th 2012
It was with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather Rudy Saager. Rudy was born in Amsterdam, Holland on June 28th 1931 and passed away in Campbell River on August 17th 2012.
Rudy will be dearly missed by his wife Geertje; daughter Tanja and her husband Wayne; grandsons Keagan and Luke and his loving family in Holland. Rudy was pre-deceased by his daughter Rebecca.
The family sends grateful thanks to Dr. Proctor for his kind support and also to the wonderful staff on 3North, Campbell River Hospital.
A Funeral Service was held at Sutton’s Funeral Home, Campbell River on Tuesday August 21, 2012. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations in memory of Rudy to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation, 381-2nd Avenue, Campbell River, BC V9W 3V1 – 250-850-2418.
