We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear daughter, sister, aunt and friend Maureen (Rokaya).
In spite of many challenges given her, Maureen lived her life with the philosophy that a sense of humour, and a good laugh are essential tools of life.
Maureen was born in Campbell River. She studied a year of high school in Australia, as a Rotary exchange student. She spent time in Indonesia with C.I.D.A. She went down many paths in her life from hairdressing, a B.A. Degree at Simon Fraser, life counsellor, and many, many hours spent on her passion, art in needle work.
She is predeceased by her niece Misha and sadly missed by her loving parents Len and Win, her brother Bryan, sister Kathern, nephews Joel, Brendan, Adam and Joey, sister-in-law Anne.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation.
