Mary Lenore BARON

March 4, 2006

baron,

Mary Lenore

June 13, 1932 ~

March 4, 2006

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lenore Baron, a beloved wife, devoted mother, precious grandmother and very special Aunt.

Lenore passed away on March 4, 2006 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC. Born June 13, 1932 in Blakeburn, British Columbia, Lenore married the love of her life, Ted Baron on May 11, 1951, in Nanaimo, BC. Ted and Lenore moved to Campbell River in 1952 where they raised their family.

Lenore had several interests, but her greatest joy was to spend time with her family and close friends.

In Lenore’s retirement she developed a passion for golf and became a member at Sequoia Springs, where she looked forward to “Friday Frolics” with her many friends and club mates. She will be deeply missed by Ted, her husband of 55 years, her daughters, Lynda (David) and Beverlee (Paul), her grandchildren, Kelly and Sarah and her many nieces and nephews. No service by request, just wonderful memories, good wishes and all our love.

Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC, #1-947 Fort Street, Victoria, BC., V8V 3K3.

To those I love and those who loved me.....

When I am gone, release me, let me go.....

I have so many things to see and do,

You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears;

Be happy that we had so many years.

I gave to you my love, you can only guess

How much you gave to me in happiness,

I thank you for the love you each have shown,

But now it’s time I traveled

on alone.

So grieve a while for me if grieve you must,

Then let your grief be

comforted by trust.

It’s only for a while that we must part,

So bless the memories within your heart.

I won’t be far away, for life goes on;

So if you need me, call and I will come,

Though you can’t see me or touch me,

I’ll be near.

And if you listen with your heart,

You’ll hear,

All of my love around you soft and clear.

And then, when you must come this way alone,

I’ll greet you with a smile and say,

“Welcome Home”
