In Loving Memory ~

Mary Edith Allin (Benton), 70, of Campbell River, passed peacefully on June 6, 2025, in Campbell River after a short illness.

She was born in Belleville, Ontario, on November 9, 1954, to William and Sybil Benton. She moved and lived in Hixon, British Columbia, where she met her future husband, David. They "mutually agreed" to get married on April 14, 1979. Shortly after in 1981 Angelique was born in Prince George, British Columbia. Mary, David and Angelique moved to Quadra Island in 1981. The family grew in 1984 when Bramley was born. She was a loving mother, wife, Aunt, and Grandma Hulk.

While living on Quadra, Mary enjoyed playing darts and cribbage through the Quadra Legion. When she moved to Campbell River she started her career as a night shift witch dispatching cabs at Beeline taxi.

Mary is survived by her husband David, daughter Angelique son Bramley, and grandchildren Damien, Owen, and Stephen, brother Robert (Pat), and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Sybil, Aunts and Uncles.

The family would like to thank all the medical professionals that showed care and compassion for Mum, especially the staff at the Campbell River Hospital Emergency Room and ICU.

Memorials or donations may be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation.
