We are so very sad to announce that our dear little mom passed away peacefully following a stroke at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, B.C.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Bill Auld, Jeannette and Eric Kentley, Louise and Frank Frey, Pat and Frank masters and her son Joe coello. Her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, Chris, Elizabeth and Rick Smith, Sharon and Dan Pilkington, Joanne, don, Bryan and James Matheson, Dawn, David, Cory and Jesse White, Kellie, Dan and Natasha Ashdown, Dee-Anne, rob, Cherise, Robert and Jordan Eliason, Deane Frey, Darilyn and Kamryn, Wayne Beebe, Tom, Lisa, Shelley and Zackery Masters, will miss their G.G. so much.
Her brothers and sisters-in-law Denny and Freda Walsh, Richmond, B.C., Jim and Carmen Walsh, California, Iris Coello, California and Dell Walsh, Vancouver, B.C. Many nieces, nephews and their families. she shared a wonderful relationship with her friend and companion Bill Rasmussen, Comox, B.C.
She was predeceased by her husband Joe, July, 1990, her parents Pat and Minnie Walsh, brother Leo Walsh and sister Dorothy Geremia.
Mom spent the last seven months at Casa Loma in Courtenay and so enjoyed all her new friends and her home there.
As to mom’s wishes, she has been cremated and there will be a Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.
Our little Bluebird
has flown away
To another life
and a brighter day
You were loved so much Mom, and we will all miss you dearly.
