ATTFIELD,

Mary Ann

October 29, 1922 —September 16, 2005

Remembering Mary Ann...

"She embodied the essence of grace. Naturally generous and helpful beyond measure, she never even knew her kindness was out of the ordinary. She had room at her dinner table for everyone, and we do mean everyone, although sometimes she’d request they bathe before sitting down to eat. She raised more foster kids than we can count during a time when there wasn’t any financial help for doing so. She lived a simple life with very few luxuries and we never heard her complain. Maybe she was your sister, your mother, your aunt or grandma, but she was always your friend. All who’ve known her have been well loved by her. Even now she is preparing a new home for us in the kingdom of heaven where by the grace of God we will be together again."
