It is with great sadness that the family of Martin Trembley announce the passing of a beloved son, brother and father after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Martin was predeceased by his father, Hank Trembley, and his beloved partner, Adria Burgess.

Martin leaves to mourn his mother Fran Trembley, his daughter Tara Trembley, son Kameron Trembley, sisters Jo-Anne Vickers and Laurel (Al) Klus, brothers Rick Trembley (Annie) and Tim Trembley, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Martin was born in Nanaimo BC and moved to Kelowna BC with his parents and siblings. A move back to Vancouver Island took place in the 1980's. Martin did many things in his lifetime including tuna fishing, marina attendant, tire store serviceman and carpentry.

Martin was a kind soul who loved to gather with friends and family. He had a very contagious and endearing laugh, and loved to toast the good times. He enjoyed playing pool with his big brother Rick. He always kept his vehicles sparkling clean and was especially proud of his beautiful black 1971 Olds 442.

Martin's friendships were many and lasted through his lifetime, and he had many nicknames including Marty and Mel H. Trant. He dabbled with the guitar and at one time even played a banjo.

We would like to thank big brother Rick and Annie (Martin's other "sis") for caring for him during his last year and a half, going above and beyond with their devotion.

There will be no service by request, but we would ask that you hold a glass up to the sky, send a little toast up to Martin and think about your last memory of this dearly missed man.
