The family of Marthe Leigh sadly announce her passing on June 13, 2014 with loved ones by her side. Marthe was pre-deceased by much-loved husband of 70 years, Harold, and their daughter Janet (Tony Szary). She leaves her sons Ronald (Patt), Ken (Jackie), Raymond (Elaine); grandchildren Therese, Cat, Harla, Steven, Scott, Chris, Shawna and Steven, and 9 great-grandchildren, as well as nephews Jack, Bob and their families.
Her love of family, feeding and caring for them and their friends, was her 'raison d'etre'.
We send our special thanks to the nurses and staff at Yucalta Lodge who were so caring of Mom, and whom she appreciated. Memorial service will be held at St Peters Anglican Church on Saturday, June 28th, 2014 at 2pm. Flowers gratefully declined; donations in her name to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
