Marlene
Marlene passed away at the Campbell River Hospital after along illness. She fought long and hard and is finally at peace.
Predeceased by her parents Medore & Ruth Marcoux and by her son Darren Currie.
Marlene is survived by her husband Gerry Currie and her son Brian Currie. Also her brother Mel Marcoux (Jeanne) and sister Denise Dionne.
Marlene was a "Great Aunty" to all her nieces and nephews. She never missed anything the children were involved in and also clapped the loudest in the room as she was so proud of them.
She lived most of her life in Campbell River and worked many years at CRTV.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care nurses and Home Care for all they did to help Marlene and the family go through these difficult times. I don't know how we could have managed without them. No Service by request.
