It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Gwendoline Howich on October 26, 2015 at Campbell River Hospital. Marge, who grew up in Winter Harbour, started her amazing career in 1954 at the tender age of 18 as a teacher at Belmont Park Elementary School in Sooke, B.C. In 1955 she returned closer to home and resumed her teaching career in Port Alice, B.C. That same year Marge met J.W. (Bill Sr.) and they were married in 1957 in Winter Harbour.
Marge, Bill Sr. and son William (Bill) moved to Campbell River in 1964 where Marge taught in elementary schools for another twenty-one years until her retirement.
We will greatly miss our Mother and Grandmother.
