Marion Hope

We are sadly announcing the sudden passing of Marion Hope, just 17 days after celebrating her 65th Wedding Anniversary with her loving husband George, daughter Heather and son Donald, along with family members and friends. Marion was born in Jasmine, Sask. moved to Warman and later met her husband in Regina. They were married in Victoria April 5th 1946 and moved to Duncan where daughter Heather was born. She then moved to Calgary, Alberta where her son Donald was born. The family moved to Prince Albert, Sask. in 1964 and lived there until retiring to Candle Lake, Sask. and later to Campbell River, BC. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Tony and Kathleen Evancio, her brothers Orest, Mike, Steven, and Jerry but survived by her sister Irene Reynolds.

We wish to thank all the staff at Yucalta Lodge and her physician, Dr. Phipps for the loving care they provided in her last years.

An open house is planned to commemorate Marion’s life on Saturday April 30th, 2011 between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. The family would prefer anyone wishing to send flowers, please donate instead to the Heart and Stroke foundation in Marion’s name.
