Marion Harry of Campbell River passed away Saturday September 7th. Predeceased by her husband Steve (Leonard) Harry, her daughter Glenda Harry, and her grandson Kyle Tom. She is survived by her sons Harold Harry, Earl Harry, Stephen Harry, and her daughters Arlene Harry, Georgina Harry, and Denise Harry; grandchildren Heather, Neil, Alyssa, Cynthia, Sheldon, Merissa, Shaylene, Katelyn, Curtis, Renee, Matthew, and John; great-grandchildren Allayah, Aniyah, Jenelle, Aidan, Roland, Kiya, Bentley, and a newborn baby boy.
Marion will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; a mentor to the many students she taught our traditional language; a respected elder in our community; and a historian of our traditional culture and language. She was a hard worker all her life and lead by example. She was always a caring, loving, free spirited woman who lit up a room just by her presence. She will be forever missed and treasured in many hearts. Her legacy will live on.
