She is survived by her daughter Joanne Del Casino (Ken), sons Roger Barriault (Lisa), Raymond Barriault (Sheila). Grandchildren Tejay Del Casino, Ashley Del Casino, Kayla Barriault.

Born & raised in Quebec to Maria & Andre Poulin, she was 1 of 18 children. Mom was in her teens when she first met our dad. Later in her 20's they met up again and fell madly in love, married in 1961 in Montreal.
From there they headed west to a little logging camp tucked away in Toba Inlet off the east coast of Vancouver Island. Joanne was born in Vancouver, back to camp then their first son Roger was born in C.R. when mom got pregnant with Richard she said to dad it is time to find a town to raise the children and call home, Campbell River it was they came in 1965. This is where Richard and Raymond Jnr. were born.
Marie was a loving wife and mother always putting her family and faith first. All the kids in the neighborhood growing up on Taylor way would call her mum. Mom loved all people of all nationalities and attended many social events throughout her life. She and dad did a lot of travelling during their retirement years in their motorhome.
We would like to thank Dr. Eckford, nurses and health care workers, for all of the compassionate care, which our mom received at the hospital in her final days.
We want to thank her dear friends Noreen, Ruth, Anne, Muncie & Catherine for your friendship; you were all very special to mom.
We also want to thank Father Jan from St. Patrick's Parish for his love and friendship that he gave to mom over the past years and in her final days, you were very special to her.
Due to Covid there will be a private mass @ Saint Patrick's Parish on Saturday January 16, 2021. We are hopeful when we intern mom with dad in the summer of 2021 we can host a celebration of life to honour this amazing lady.
In lieu of flowers, mom supported the C. R. Hospital foundation, or Saint Patrick's Parish Columbarium building fund.
Au revoir au ciel Mamma
