Marie
Passed away on October 16th, 2004. Marie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Eric, and her beloved sons; Douglas (Jeannette) of London, England and Birk (Karen) of Abbotsford, BC.
Marie was well known and respected for her community involvement, including the Cancer Society, Centennial Pool, Community Hall, the Quilters group, Arthritis Society, Friends of Strathcona Park, Lutheran Church, Happy Wanderers and volunteering with the Evergreen Kindergarten class, as well as numerous other local charities and groups over the years.
Marie enjoyed travelling, her friends, and most of all, her family. We would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Baerg, the Home Support ladies and the Nurses at the Campbell River Hospital who all gave Marie wonderful outstanding care. You are all very much appreciated.
A Service for Marie will be held at the Lutheran Church, located on Birch St. at 2nd Ave. on Sunday, October 24th at 12:30p.m.
