Margaret Marion (nee Flockhart)
Passed away at the Campbell River Hospital on Wednesday, June 28, 2006. She is now at peace with her beloved husband, Fred, her sister, Helen and brother, Bertie. She is survived by her nephew, Keith Temple (Eileen), great nephews Brad and Jeff Temple, stepchildren Sandra, Shawn, Jim and Rob and five grandchildren, Kevin, Roisin, Sean, Megan and Tracy.
Also remembered by her dear friend May Johnston and her god daughter Lesley Robertson in Scotland, Mike and Molly, Joanne (Brian), Sam and Liam Andrew (Suzanne) all in Victoria and many good friends in Campbell River.
Born in Halton, UK on September 18, 1925, Margaret came to Canada in 1962 and quickly became a valued member of our community. She was awarded the Confederation Medal in 1992. She will be missed by many for her sense of humour as well as her energy and willingness to help others.
A tea celebrating her life and honouring her many hours of hard work will be held by the Royal Canadian Legion at a later date.
