Isabell “Belle” Lance

Passed away peacefully on April 4, 2002 at home at Palm Beach, Powell River, BC. Belle was born January 14, 1928 at Shellmouth, Manitoba.
She is survived by sister Jean Mullen; brothers Ted (Leila) Lloyd, and Andy(Marg) Lloyd; children Barbara Gulewich, Brad (Caddy), Dan (Caroline), Bill (Kathy), Gord and Ron. She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Tania, Tami-Lynn, Kyle, Kelly Kevin, Ryan, Cole, Julie, Cory, Taylor, Kristen, and Michael; and great-granddaughter Eden.
Belle was predeceased by children’s father Stanley Lance; parents James and Kate Lloyd; and brothers Albert, Archie, Roy, and Bill Lloyd. Belle was involved in a number of organizations including the Alberni Valley Women’s Hospital Club and the mental health support groups. She always took time to help others and will be sadly missed by many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 from Powell River United Church, 6932 Crofton Street. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Powell River Mental Health Centre, 6953 Alberni Street, Powell River, BC V8A 2B8.
