Margaret Gray Robertson

(nee Sneddon)

Born January 12, 1927, passed away peacefully at Campbell River Hospital on April 24, 2009. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, husband John (Rob), sister Betty and brother Adam Sr. Much loved and much mourned, Margaret left behind her niece Mary Lewis (Wayne), nephew John Lewis (Norma) and their children.

Margaret was born in Wishaw, Scotland, married John (Rob) Robertson in 1948. They immigrated to Canada in 1956 with their beloved dog “Shawna.” Margaret and Rob loved Canada (God’s Country) and never regretted leaving their homeland. However, they both were very proud of their Scottish heritage. After working for several years in Seymour Pharmacy, Margaret enjoyed her retirement with Rob travelling in their motor home, attending Shrine functions and being with her family.

Special thanks to Dr. LeBeuf, Campbell River Emergency Room Staff, Third Floor Staff, Yucalta Lodge Staff, Hairdressers and Auxiliary. Also thanks to Home Support and the Home Care Nurses whose help allowed Margaret to remain in her own home for as long as possible.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation.
