With heavy Hearts and Great Sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Malcolm "Craig" McDermid 45 years young.

Beloved Father, Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin and Friend.

Craig was born in Campbell River Sept 21, 1972 growing up in both Campbell River and Prince George. Craig enjoyed a variety of sports including Competitive swimming, soccer, football, hunting, skiing and a great many of his school days fishing.

All are second only to his deepest loves, his three boys. At any opportunity Craig would find his way to the waters with a Fishing Rod in hand. Craig's career was operating Heavy Duty Equipment for various Logging Companies and was a true master at the controls. Craig's passion and outlook for life was one truly to be admired as he loved everyone so selflessly and gave all his heart to all who knew him, along with his Bright Hearty Smile, judgement of none and his happiness and love for life.

Craig ls loved so Deeply and will be so Dearly missed by his sons Tyler, Matthew, and Nathan. Mother Diana Dingwall, Father and Stepmom Neil and Sue McDermid, Sisters Lynn (Pete) and Brenda, and Brother Scott.

Nieces and Nephews Sarah (Mike, Alden and Mikaela), Alex, Samantha (Mitchell and Theo), AJ, Tyson (Lisa) and Dearest friend Angie Dale. So many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

Predeceased most recently by his Best Friend Darren Wood.

Our Hearts know they are both In a peaceful place casting a line. This is not Goodbye but See You Later. We will all Miss you so very much.

Anyone whose life he touched are welcome to join us in a Celebration of Life on February 24, 2018, 1:00 pm at the Campbell River Golf and Country Club, 700 Petersen Road.
