Madeline Williams

It is in great sadness that we must announce the passing of our mother, Madeline Williams.

She passed peacefully in her sleep on June 16, 2015 at her residency in Evergreen Seniors Home surrounded by love, compassion and care from her friends and staff.

She is survived by her sons Douglas Bowers, Larry Bowers, Randy Bowers, Bill Bowers, Robert Frizzell, Donald Frizzell and their families; her brothers Donald Ivey, Gerald Ivey, Stanley Ivey and their families and all the many grandchildren.

Madeline was a go-getter, always having something to keep her busy. One of her many passions were sewing and she loved to make quilts for all the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She love baking cinnamon rolls, biscuits and breads for all the grandkids and families

Mom was always there if you needed help and support, her door was always open no matter the reason. Her boys came first and look out if you thought that could be changed.

Born and raised in the Maritimes (NB), she has travelled from the far end of eastern Canada to the far west and to points of beautiful BC, finally ending up in the best of the west, Campbell River.
