Lynda Nadine Knechtel-Shea (nee Hurn) of Campbell River, BC passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the age of 73 years.
Lynda was born in Paris, ON and over the years lived in several locations in ON, then moved to Calgary, AB, Red Deer, AB and finally, Campbell River, BC.
She was a force of nature who had an extreme love of animals and was a very talented artist. She greatly enjoyed travelling, cruises being her favorite mode of transport.
Lynda is survived by her daughters and stepson, Bernadette (Murray), Hope, Joy (Oliver) and Ken (Wanda); her 6 grandchildren, Joshua Shea (Amber), Krystle (Riley), Joshua Toth, Justin, Jayden and Levi; her great-grandchildren, Ryker, Aliya, Jayce, Elena and Owen.
She also leaves behind her siblings, Byron and Nancy and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her second husband Howard Shea.

The family would like to thank Elly Hastings for her unending dedication and love she showed Lynda with all the visits and care she gave over the last few years. Elly is the person everyone wants as a friend with an amazing heart.
We would also like to thank Yucalta Lodge for their kindness and caring of Lynda over the past several years and in her final days.
