of Comox, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Wednesday, July 31, 2002 at age 80. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 56 years, Ted; daughters Susan Laurel (Jim) Norman and grandchildren Katie Norman, Annie Norman and Josh Norman of Campbell River; Sharen Maureen (Bud) bingham and grandchildren Wendy Bingham and Andrea Bingham of Comox; her brother John “Jack” (Alvina) Flamank of Kelowna as well as her nieces and nephews. Lucille was an avid reader, a student of computers and the internet and loved time spent in her garden and playing bridge. An expert cook, she wrote four cookbooks of favourite family recipes in her latter years. Her warm and engaging personality earned her many friends who loved her dearly. She always gave so much of herself to others and was known for her “joie de vivre.” Lucille will be greatly missed.
