Passed away peacefully at Yucalta Lodge, Campbell River, BC.
Wally is survived by his wife, Shirley and children Heather, Maureen and Douglas, also his brothers and sisters; Richard, Tom, Betty, Leonard, Norman, Sharon and Vera and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Frank, Mother Gladyis and Father Frank Wale.
Wally was born in Port Alberni. He served five years in the Royal Canadian Air Force. During his career he worked in the pulp and paper industry - four years in Hinton, AB, then settled in Campbell River, BC in 1961, briefly transferred to Ocean Falls for three years. He returned to Campbell River and retired in 1995.
Wally will be sadly missed by family and many friends.
A Service to Celebrate Wally’s Life will be held at Sutton’s Funeral Chapel, 502 S. Dogwood Street, Campbell River, BC. on Friday, June 25th at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, please made donations to: Alzheimer’s Society of BC. #20-601 West Cordova St., Vancouver BC., V6B 1G1.
