August 7, 1967 – March 20, 2015
Linda Marie Lewthwaite passed away peacefully March 20, 2015. Linda struggled for years with the painful and crippling effects of rheumatoid arthritis, yet her will to live, sense of humour and incredible love for life remained undiminished to
the end.
Linda is predeceased by her parents Marie Klemenz and Frank Lewthwaite. She is survived by her son Levi who was the brightest light and greatest joy of her life. She will be deeply missed by her sisters, brothers, Papa Chuckie, Aunt, Unk, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Yucalta Lodge who took such great care of Linda. As well she had a great team of doctors and other medical personnel who did all they could to ease the pain and affects of Linda's long term illness.
Linda had a unfailing sense of humour which delighted her family and many devoted friends, such as Linda Kerr who spent many hours with Linda and was with her when she took her last breath. Levi and all of Linda's family would like to thank and make special note of Linda's greatest friend and guardian angel Darlene Boyce for the incredible amount of love, devotion and comfort she brought to Linda's life.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at Yucalta Lodge Saturday, April 4th 11:00am-2:00pm. At Linda's request instead of flowers please consider making a donation to the BC Arthritis Society.
