In loving memory ~

It is with great sadness the family of Linda Louise Lavender announces her passing on January 23rd. Linda was born on a Thursday and left on a Thursday and as the old saying goes "Thursday's child has far to go". Linda lived 70 very full years and passed away, peacefully, surrounded with love, lit candles and white roses and a way she went on her next adventure.

Linda was predeceased by her mother Jean, her father Ted, and many extended families she loved over the years. Linda will be met by her orange tabby cat Zipper.

Linda is lovingly remembered by her life partner Vern and his large family. Linda's only child Travis (Angela) and her cherished granddaughters Ally (Nathan) and Jenna Louise (Philip).

Linda leaves behind a very close immediate family, including her brother David (Jane) and sister Cory. Linda's girls were her three beloved nieces Kim, Christeen and Patti (John). Linda had many more loved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends around the world Linda called her family.

Linda was a proud Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) for over 40 years. Linda owned LLA massage therapy where she worked with many amazing RMT's. Linda cared so deeply for her clients. Linda also worked at LiğwiłdaxwHealth Society where she had a deep respect for her bosses, fellow colleagues, Band Members, and her beloved Elders.

Linda has travelled the entire world, she has filled countless passports and endless pages of stamps. If Linda was not on a trip, she was planning her next trip. Linda loved sending postcards from around the world that will be cherished by her family and friends for years to come. Linda loved Coronation Street, where you learned to never call her between 7-8pm.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Campbell River Hospital, her nurses and her many doctors, she was so well cared for.

No service by her request, however, please raise a glass and toast her, think of her on your next trip and "never stop exploring".
