March 8th, 1946 – March 6th, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Joan Watson, who left us suddenly yet peacefully at the Campbell River General Hospital on March 6th, 2016. She was 2 days shy of her 70th Birthday.

Linda was a career nurse and H.E.U Representative who worked many years in the Yukon as well as the Campbell River General Hospital from 1987 to her retirement 4 years ago.

She loved to knit and created many beautiful garments that were given to family and friends – she was also a voracious reader, and was a familiar face at the local library.

Linda was predeceased by her father Fred, brother Terry, son Roy Jr, and grandson Lucas Meade.

She will be forever missed by her devoted husband of 51 years Roy, daughter Kim (Laurie), sons James (Peggy), Dale (Shawnette), and her grandchildren Jacob, Issac, Aiden, Hannah, Zachary, and Tristan, who were her pride and joy.

Linda leaves behind her mother Joan, sisters Kareen (Lee), Frances (Alan), Rosemary (Peter), brother John (Billie), numerous nieces, nephews, and too many friends to mention.

A Celebration of Life will be held April 2nd, 2016 from 1-4pm at the Legion Hall, 301-11th Avenue.
