May 25, 1926 – October 10, 2015

Leslie was born in Williamsburg, NB ninth in a family of fifteen. He was best known for his hard working attitude and love of family. In 1969 he set out on his western adventure with wife and daughters in tow arriving in Prince George, BC. He lived and worked there for 23 years after which time he retired to Campbell River, BC. Les loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was equally comfortable with hammer and saw or wrenching. Whatever job needed doing, he did it.

Leslie is survived by wife Mary (nee Foreman); daughters Katherine Parker (Red Deer, AB), Linda Lawrence (Don-Campbell River, BC), Kimberley Dorcas (Kelowna, BC); grandchildren Krista Smith (Jordan – Duncan, BC), Candice Lawrence (Campbell River, BC), Clayton Lawrence (Meagan – Devon, AB): great grandchildren Clayton, Amelia and Florence Smith and Jameson Lawrence.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Campbell River Hospice Society would be appreciated.

The family would like to thank all the physicians and nursing staff who helped make Dad’s final journey peaceful.
