After his toughest and bravest fight of his life, Ludes has reunited with his late mother Elsie. Lenard passed away quietly and peacefully August 9th at Campbell River Hospital following a gallant bout with liver Cancer. Although ultimately losing the fight, Lenard showed amazing resilience and fortitude when he bounced back from his hospital bed and managed to make it out camping in July for 7 nights. There, he enjoyed his remaining time to the fullest while fishing and sailing on upper Campbell Lake.
Lenard is survived by his father Marian, brother Witold and the families of his nieces and nephews: Darryn, Fancie, (Ty), Kristi, SuperDave, (Tanner), (Dylan), Lennai, Ronnie, (Taylor), (Karsyn), Johnny, (Phasia).
Lenard will be missed dearly by his many friends and family. As per Lenard's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead there will be a "Celebration of Life" for friends and family at his longtime home in Willow Point located at 3060 South Island Hwy. on Sunday August 17th at 1:00P.M. Don't forget to bring beer. Ha.Ha.!!
