Adrienne(”Adie”)
Adie was born 28 Mar. 1955 in Comox, BC. Passed away 31 May 2004 in Campbell River, BC, and thorughout her existence, she faced life altering health challenges.
Survived by her devoted father David Quocksister (Joanne), mother Joan Wilson (of Whitehorse, YK), grandmother Nellie Bartlett, siblings Kelly Quocksister & Vikki-Ann Quocksister, niece Jade Quocksister, and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Predeceased by her brother Kirby Quocksister, grandparents Chief John & Susan(Assu) Quocksister, and grandfather Ron Bartlett.
Although Adie was unable to talk, she spoke volumes with her eyes.
Over nine years ago we were very fortunate that Adie was brought home to Campbell River, and has since resided at Colwyn House.
We are forever indebted to the caregivers there for the love and support they showered upon her. This setting enabled her father to see her every day, and feed her breakfast. These were the best years of her life - and his.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 5, at 11:00a.m. at the campbell River Community Centre, with interment at the C.R. Spit Cemetery - where the eagles, and her ancestors, will watch over her. A luncheon will follow.
