Lawrence Lorne
Born May 2, 1937 in Kinlock, Sask., left us suddenly on Sept. 12, 2006 at Campbell River BC. He is survived by his wife Rose and two daughters Lorna (Kevin) Craig and Loretta Lee, two granddaughters Lyn & Julia Craig. Mother, Violet Lee - Sask. Uncle Charles Gwyllt, Michigan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lorne worked in Vancouver BC where he met Rose and later married. They lived at Redonda Bay after marrying then moved to Powell River, then to the Yukon for one year and finally to Chilliwack where he owned a trucking business for 24 years.
He then retired and moved to Campbell River, they both liked to explore new places and were always on the road somewhere. rose and Lorne celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
There will be a celebration of Life at the “Homalco Cultural Centre” at 1218 Bute Cresc., Campbell Riuver, BC at 1:00 pm. on Saturday September 23, 2006.
