May 1, 1930 – January 23, 2016
With saddened hearts Cindy, Earl and David held Dad’s hands as he sailed away on a full moon to join Mom. Dad passed away peacefully at home with his loved ones at his side.
His wife Pat of 62 years, his parents Norene Kvello and Moody Haines, his sister Wilma and niece Marina predeceased him. He leaves behind his three children, their families and lifelong friends.
Dad will be remembered as a gentleman and a great caring friend to many of all ages. He always had time to chat and give advice on many topics. He loved fishing and sailing as he spent most of his life on the sea. Those of you who knew Dad can appreciate his attention to detail and just how much his boats meant to him. The Christina B was an extension of who he was.
We thank Home Care Nursing Services for their compassion and understanding as they assisted Dad on his journey. Dad wished to thank Dr. Duncan Douglas for his dedicated care and Dr. David James for his years of friendship.
