In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Larry, our loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Larry passed away at home with his wife and daughters by his side.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Nikki, daughters Terry and Dawn (Bruce) and grandchildren Michael, Kendra, Natalie, Jana and brother Bege.
Larry grew up in Victoria where he spent all his free time playing sports. A few years after graduation he joined the RCMP where he enjoyed his postings on the coast of BC.
After ten years he changed careers and became a Conservation Officer in Campbell River. He said he preferred chasing four legged animals over two legged ones.
Larry had a passion for sports including baseball, hockey, golf, biking and more. When he wasn't playing he enjoyed coaching and could often be found at the driving range giving a helping hand. He loved helping others and was best known for his mischievous sense of humour and warm friendly smile.
Another of his favourite pastimes was fishing at Winter Harbour. He also could be found solving all the world's problems with the boys at Foggdukkers.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Rob Ramsey and the Island Health nurses and Home Care staff.
A celebration of life will be held later in the spring.
