Passed away suddenly at the Campbell River Hospital on January 20, 2006 at the age of 67 after a short battle with cancer.
He was predeceased by his parents, Russel & Marjorie Gosselin, and his brother James.
He is survived by his loving wife Pat, his first wife Joan Gosselin (Brian) of Campbell River, sister-in-law Marie Gosselin of Winnipeg, MB,, sons: John Gosselin of Campbell River, Ron Lundie (Debbie) of Vernon, BC & Terry Lundie (Lisa) of Wynyard, SK.; daughters: Laurie Kulhawy (Peter) of Wynyard, SK and Carrie Jeune (Daryl) of Campbell River; sister Mary Anne Waffle (Bill) of Campbell River, brother Blair Gosselin (Lavona) of Baldur, MB; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was born in Baldur, Manitoba in 1938 and moved to Campbell River in 1962. He worked for Campbell River School District #72 for 32 years until his retirement in 2000. He was an especially kind and compassionate man who loved his family and his special feline friends. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends and acquaintances, and his adoring pets.
A Special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Campbell River Hospital for their care and compassion especially in his last hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sutton’s Funeral Chapel, 502 South Dogwood Street on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 3:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1423B-16th Ave., Campbell River, BC or the S.P.C.A., Box 541, Campbell River, BC., V9W 5T9.
