Kristjan (Kris) Niels It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Kristjan (Kris) Niels Karason on April 29th, 2006. Kris was born in Klúkur Hrafnagilshreppi Eyjafeirdi, Iceland in 1936. Immigrating to Canada at the age of 20, he settled in Winnipeg Manitoba before moving to Campbell River in 1972. Kris will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jeri-Lynn: sons Ted (Cheryl) of Campbell River, Eric of Fort St John, Kristjan (Sharlene) of Campbell River, Johann (Sandra) Karason of Campbell River, daughter Peggy-Sue (Dale) Bairstow of Hudson’s Hope BC, grandchildren: Anna, David, Erika, Aaron, Kayla and Kevin, and many other friends and family. There will be an open house to honor the life of this wonderful man Saturday May 6 at the family home between 1 – 4pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice. Deepest appreciation to Dr. Peter Daniels for being immediately on hand for his friend.
