On March 6, 2002 Ken Spiers, a long time resident of Campbell River, passed away peacefully after a brief illness.
He is predeceased by his parents, Ron and Ella Spiers. Ken is survived by his long time companion of 18 years, Carmen; daughter, Kimberley (Robert) Redman and grandchildren, Brandon and Heather; step-children, Karen (Ron) Stromquist; Bonnie (Brenden) King; Robert Cheney; grandchildren, Sterling, Sahresa and Shawnda; adopted grandchild, Mya; sisters June Cassidy, Rosalea(Peter) Warkentin, and Kay (Ted) Wilson; brother Vern(Norma) Spiers and many other relatives and good friends.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Friday, March 15, 2002 at 1:00p.m. at Sutton’s Funeral Chapel, 502 S. Dogwood St. Tea to follow at the Legion from 2:00 - 4:00p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hospital Fund or the Charity of your choice.
