In loving memory ~
Kenneth Robert Piercy passed peacefully at home with his wife by his side. Ken was born in Vancouver BC and as an infant moved to Vancouver Island. He met his wife Trish shortly after moving to Campbell River where they have resided for the past 45 years.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by Trish, his children Greg (Sohan), Lisa (Sean), Russell (Tina) and Nikki (Marty); grandchildren Tashi, Kailas, Kelsey, Kisandra, Emma, Lynnea and Brayden; great grandchildren Isolde, Lincoln, Melody, and Peyton: siblings Norm, Lorraine and Albie.
Ken has been actively involved in both the Campbell River Oldtimers Hockey and the Storey Creek Golf communities. Ken retired from Timber West after a long career in the forest industry where he worked on the Queen Charlottes (Haida Gwaii) and Vancouver Islands. We would like to give thanks to the Equipment Loan Program of the ALS Society, Dr. Jon Walker, and the home support team for the special care they provided. Many thanks to Ken's friends who continually kept in contact through this journey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Anchor Inn on November 9th at 1 p.m. in Campbell River, B.C. Please consider supporting the ALS Society.
