Born January 6th, 1931 in Vancouver, B.C., Ken moved to Nanaimo as a young boy, and later moved to Campbell River to work for B.C. Hydro. He is survived by his loving wife Dianne of 41 years, sons Stephen (Charlene), Alan, grandchildren Bertanya, Bradly, sisters Edith Thomas of Nanaimo, Bernice Solberg of Campbell River, several nieces, nephews, and mother-in-law Kay Sutherland, Ken’s enjoyment in life was fishing, hunting, and most of all coaching soccer and riding his bike. A Celebration of Life tea will be held at the Altrusa House, 142 Larwood St., Campbell River on July 8th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Many thanks to Dr. Ramsey and the nursing staff of Campbell River Hospital, also Dr. Martin of Victoria General Hospital, the Campbell River Home Support, Altrusa House staff and a special thank you to Terry, Andrea, Heather and family for all their long hours and support with our family.
