It is with sadness the family of Keith McKay announce his passing on March 16, 2018 at Yucalta Lodge in Campbell River, BC.

Keith is predeceased by his mother, stepmother, father and step brothers.

Left behind to mourn his passing are his sons Darrell (Melodyi) and Mark (Kathy), daughter Lisa Jones (Mark); grandchildren Caeli, Brynn, and Brodie McKay, Alyssa Kelly and Gracie Jones, his sister Joyce Newsome (Wilf) as well as many other relatives and friends.

Keith was in the British army for 2 years. Is a Royal Canadian Legion member as well as belonged to the Pulp & Paper Union. He worked at Rolls Royce and received his millwright apprenticeship.

In '67 he moved to Canada with wife Irene and kids. He loved an adventure. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing & hunting. He won the Campbell River Fishing Derby in 1977, 52 lb 10 oz salmon, winning $1000.

Keith was a born Union leader, lived for hunting and fishing with his friends, a practical joker and a master of teasing.

Donations in Keith's name to the Campbell River Hospice would be greatly appreciated.

Private cremation services entrusted to Elk Falls Crematorium.
