We announce with regret the passing of Keith Orr, after a long illness at Campbell River Hospital on July 10, 2014.

He is survived by his wife Sheila; his children Tom, Terri (Alex), Martha (Dennis), Robert (Pete), Brian (Ellen), Terry (Nancy), Gary (Christine) and Sheila (Wayne) as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Robert (Anne-Marie), sister Alison (Floyd), his niece and nephews.

In his leisure he enjoyed hunting, was a member of the Rod and Gun Club and always looked forward to the Black Powder Rendezvous.

All of his life he was dedicated to his church and served as a lay minister with Tahsis United Church for the past 30 years, and was actively involved with Canadian Rangers.

A celebration of Keith’s life will be held on Thursday, July 17, at 2:00pm at Tahsis Christian Church. Should friends wish, donations in his memory to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
