With great sadness, we announce the passing of Karon Sonja Waugh at her home.
Karon was predeceased by husbands Jim Shuttleworth and Dave Waugh. She is survived by her loving sons - Rod (Nat) Shuttleworth and Lucia in Australia and Rick (Brenda) Shuttleworth and Tanza, James (Taylor) and Piper. She is also survived by the Waugh family and her siblings.
The family wishes to thank her partner, Chuck Hunter, Dr. A. Booth and Dr. D. de Bruin for their devoted care of their mother. Her family - particularly her two sons - and large collection of friends were very important to Karon. We will miss her compassion and thoughtfulness combined with her great sense of humour and laughter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
